Director Ameer replaces Vijay Sethupathi in Vada Chennai

Vada Chennai directed by Vetri Maaran is one project that has seen a lot of replacements and changes. While the first change came in the form of Amala Paul who replaced Samantha, the second one was Amala herself who was replaced by Aishwarya Rajesh.

The film features Dhanush, Samuthirakani, Daniel Balaji and also Vijay Sethupathi who was said to be doing an extended cameo. There were talks that Vijay Sethupathi opted out of the project because it is taking a long time and that there was a clash with his dates.

Now reports say that he has been replaced by director Ameer. Ameer has done a film called Yogi wherein he played the lead. He has also done a few cameos. Recently Ameer and Vetri Maaran were seen in a function that had many directors like Bharathi Raja. Official confirmation from Vada Chennai is yet to arrive on this.
