Gautham Menon opens up on Thala 55

Director Gautham Menon is completely engrossed in his upcoming film with Ajith which is titled for practical purposes as Thala 55. On his film and Ajith’s character, the director opens up and says it is a journey of a man from 12 to 38 years. He adds, “There is action, romance and also family sentiment. If I were to title the film in English, I would say Distinguished Gentleman going by Ajith’s character”.

On working with Ajith, the VTV director adds, “It is wonderful working with Ajith. With him, you can be yourself and most comfortable. Even when I wanted to add something to play to the gallery, he would dissuade me from doing it and would remind me it is Gautham Menon’s film.”

“Ajith’s name in the film is Sathyadev and he would look very different from all his earlier films. He has donned on four different looks”, Gautham adds.
