Govinda loves lyrics of 'Gori Tere Naina'

Mumbai, Oct 8 (IANS) Bollywood actor Govinda, who launched his second music album recently, said that in the past too he thought about making a comeback as a singer but nothing worked out.

The actor launched his first music album "Govinda" in 1998. He released his second album "Gori Tere Naina" Monday.

"It has been long (since I launched my last album). Through the songs I made a place in people's heart. But there is a phase in every artist's career when he has to start again and it happened with me almost two-three times," Govinda said here at the launch of his album.

"I felt that I should begin with the song ('Gori tere naina'). I loved the lyrics," added the actor, who is trained in classical music.

Govinda has also penned the songs while Shamir Tandon has composed the music for it.

The songs feature Govinda along with TV actress Puja Banerjee, who is currently seen as Parvati in "Devon Ka Dev Mahadev".
