GV Prakash injured

Music composer/actor GV Prakash Kumar was injured while he was shooting for his upcoming flick Kuppatthu Raja, directed by choreographer-turned-filmmaker Baba Bhaskar. The shoot was happening at Mohan Studios, Chennai.


The stunt scene was choreographed by Dhilip Subbarayan and the scene was about Prakash catching a flying kite. He had to run over a cart and then jump onto the roof of a house and catch the kite’s thread. He did it without a body double and had a harness for safety measures. Everything was fine till he jumped onto the rooftop. While running there, he slipped and his right toe was deeply cut.


Immediately first aid was given and the actor was told to take rest. But being the professional that he is, Prakash continued to shoot despite his injury and completed the shoot. He had just managed with a band aid and shot. Click the Movie button below for more info:
