Huma Quereshi in Rajini-Ranjith film

Rajini-Ranjith film which had its photo shoot a couple of days ago is all set to begin its shooting soon. The film was said to be Rajini’s 161st one but now reports say that it is actually Rajini’s 164th film. The film is produced by Dhanush, Rajini’s son-in-law for his Wunderbar Films.

The female lead of this film was initially said to be Vidya Balan who had also mentioned this in one of her interviews. But now sources say that Huma Qureshi of Gangs of Wassepur fame has been brought in as the female lead. An official information is yet to come.

Reports say that the film is about a gangster in Mumbai but after a note from Haji Mastan’s adopted son, the production unit denied saying that the story is not about Haji Mastan. As of now Santhosh Narayanan is the music composer and Sreekar Prasad may be taking the role as an editor in the film.
