Ilayaraja sings for Dhanush's Maari 2

That National Award winning actor Dhanush is a huge fan of music composer Ilayaraja is known to all. And the actor does not lose an opportunity to express his adulation publicly. Therefore it does not come as a surprise when the Aadukalam hero had called Ilayaraja to render a number in his upcoming film Maari 2 which is directed by Balaji Mohan.

Expressing his happiness in social media, Dhanush says, “So happy to announce that the maestro isaignani ilayaraja sir sang a song today for #maari2. What a delightful divine experience. We feel so blessed and super thrilled. @thisisysr @directormbalaji”. He had also shared a few pictures of the duo to the delight of fans of both the technicians.

Maari 2, the sequel of Maari, will have Sai Pallavi as the female lead, Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas as the baddie, Varalaxmi Sarahkumar in an important role and Robo Shankar in the same role that he did in the previous film.
