'Ilayaraja's visit was a blessing to us'

Music composer Justin Prabhakaran is someone who is in search of unheard melodies and the same can be expected in his upcoming film Raja Mandhiri directed by Usha Krishnan.

Talking about the soundtracks Justin says, “There are five songs in the movie namely Pambaram, Snegithiey, Cauliflowerey, Leguva leguva and Kootathai Kooti. All the five are my favorite but the title track Pambaram which was sung by Chinna Ponnu is closest to my heart.

The reason behind this is, during this songs’ recording we were surprised by the casual visit of Maestro Ilayaraja. It took 30 minutes for me to get back from that pleasurable shock. The blessing that I got from the maestro will be an unforgettable moment in my entire life,” signs off Justin who is known for his melodious tracks in Panniyaarum Padminiyum.
