Imman to compose for Viswasam?

Ajith starrer Viswasam to be directed by Siva and produced by Sathyajyothi films is slowly but steadily firming up the cast and technician list. While heroine for the film was announced as Nayanthara a couple of days ago by the production house, the post of the music composer of the film has apparently gone to D Imman.

This is the first time Imman would be scoring for an Ajith film. While it was first announced that Yuvan Shankar Raja was to compose music for the film, later he walked out of the project. Anirudh was also a strong contender having already worked with Siva and Ajith in Vedhalam and Vivegam. But the inclusion of Imman appears to surprise one and all.

Amid the grapevine buzz, director Shakti Soundar Rajan, with whom Imman collaborated on Tik Tik Tik, took to Twitter to congratulate the music composer. “Congrats @immancomposer for deservingly bagging #Thala’s #Viswasam!!!,” he tweeted. However, there is no official confirmation yet from the makers.
