In a first, canines, rooster to play lead in pan-Indian film

For the first time in the history of Indian Cinema, 11 dogs and one rooster will feature as major characters in a multi-lingual film, titled ‘Valatty’. The motion poster of the film has been released already.

The film, which will not have actors, is produced by Vijay Babu under his home banner Friday Film House and directed by debutant Devan.

Interestingly, major actors in Malayalam Cinema will lend their voices to the animal characters in the film. Dogs belonging to various high breeds are also part of the movie. Apart from Malayalam, the flick will be released in Tamil Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.

Vishnu Panicker is in charge of cinematography of the film, which has editing by Ayoob Khan. Varun Sunil is the music composer of the movie which has six songs. Arun Venjaramoodu leads the art department while Dhanush Nayanar handles sound design.

The preproduction works of the film as well as the training of dogs have taken more than three years. This is the 18th film produced by Friday Film House and it will hit the cinemas in the summer of 2023. Click the Movie button below for more info:
