Jab We Met actor-director, Shahid Kapoor & Imtiaz Ali to reunite after 10 years

The combination of actor Shahid Kapoor and director Imtiaz Ali gave us one of the best romantic films of Bollywood – ‘Jab We Met.’ However, the hit actor-director jodi never collaborated again after that film, which also featured Kareena Kapoor Khan.

And now, if the buzz is to be believed, Imtiaz and Shahid have decided to team up again for another love story. While an official statement is yet to be awaited, a daily reported that the duo has already locked the script and the film is all set to go on the floors next year.

A source revealed to a daily, “The film kicks off in Mumbai in April and will be followed by an extensive shoot, both in India and abroad. At the moment, Imtiaz is still looking for a leading lady to be cast opposite Shahid for this rom com.”

Well, we can’t wait for the official announcement. Meanwhile on the work front, Shahid is gearing up for the release of his much awaited film ‘Padmavati’ and has already started prep for his next film – ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu.’
