Jaw-Dropping! Salman Khan's Tubelight makes Rs. 200 cr before release

As baffling as it may sound, but if the reports are to be believed, box-office darling — Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Tubelight’ has already made a whopping Rs. 200 crore.


After we last mentioned that ‘Tubelight’ has sold its music rights at Rs. 20 crore, we now hear that the distribution rights of this most awaited film of the year has been reportedly sold at a massive amount of Rs. 200 crore.


According to a report in DNA After Hrs, the all – India distribution rights of ‘Tubelight’ have been sold to NH Studioz for Rs. 132 crore, and apparently, a Chinese company has bought the theatrical rights of the film in China for Rs. 75 crore. Now if you do the math, the film, which was made around a budged of Rs. 100 crore is already made tons of profit.


Helmed by Kabir Khan, ‘Tubelight’ also stars Chinese actress Zhu Zhu apart from Salman Khan, and will be releasing across 1200 screens in China. Now that explains the Chinese company’s interest in the film.


‘Tubelight’ is based on the 1962 Indo-China war and is all set to release on June 23, 2017.
