Jessica Chastain finds her 'Crimson Peak' director Del Toro to be a balanced storyteller

Actress Jessica Chastain feels that director Guillermo del Toro Gómez creates a balance in his films, which are visually appealing and involve great story-telling.


Chastain who plays Lady Lucille Sharpe in Universal Pictures’ film Crimson Peak, says that in the Gomez directorial, every emotion has its equal parts magnified, read a statement.


“Hate and anger come from love; every emotion has its equal parts magnified. Guillermo creates that balance so you never feel like you’re playing an empty emotion. You never feel like you’re just in a ghost story. You feel like you’re telling a story about real people,” Chastain said.


The director who has films like “Pan's Labyrinth”, “Hell Boy” series and “Pacific Rim” in his kitty, has Chastain and Tom Hiddleston featuring in his latest film “Crimson Peak” which is a romantic gothic horror film.
