Jomon. T. John turns director with Nivin Pauly as hero

Cinematographer Jomon. T. John will make his directorial debut with the film “Kairali.” Actor Nivin Pauly, who will play the lead in the film, announced this on his Twitter page today.

“Announcing my new project #Kairali to be directed by my dear friend @dopjomon ! #SidarthaSiva,” Nivin wrote.

The film is based on the disappearance of Kerala’s first ship MV Kairali in 1979 in the Indian Ocean with 49 crew members. Actor-director Sidhartha Siva will write the script.

The film will be jointly produced by Pauly Jr Pictures and Real Life Works. The movie is set to go on floors in December. Click the Movie button below for more info:
