Jyothika's next titled as Magalir Mattum

Jyothika who made her comeback through Rosshan Andrews’ 36 Vayadhinile had been brought on board a film which is funded by her husband Suriya for his 2D Entertainment some time back. This film is also co-produced by Chris Pictures and is being directed by Bramma of Kuttram Kadithal fame.

The film has been titled as Magalir Mattum which was revealed by Suriya in his Twitter page. He said, “Dear all ! Jo's next #MagalirMattum directed by @bramma23 ! A feel good entertainer !!”.

It has to be recalled that Kamal Haasan had produced and featured in a 1994 film titled as Magalir Mattum that featured Revathy, Oorvasi and Rohini. Looks like Kamal Haasan had agreed Bramma’s team to use the title for this 2016 flick. Apparently Jyothika plays a documentary film maker in this film, which also features Bhanupriya and Oorvasi doing pivotal roles. Ghibran is the music director.
