Karthi's Kadaikutty Singam gets completed

Kadaikutty Singam, the Karthi starrer is bankrolled by Suriya’s home production 2D Entertainment. The film was extensively shot in Tenkasi and other parts of the state. While there was some controversy about a Rekla scene in the film, the Performing Animals Sub-Committee (PASC) later cleared the film.

Directed by Pandiraj, Kadaikutty Singam is said to be a village-centric family drama that has Sayesha Saigal and Priya Bhavanishankar as the lady leads. The film also stars Sathyaraj and yesteryear heroines Bhanupriya and Viji Chandrashekhar. Sathyaraj plays Karthi’s father in the film. Cinematographer Velraj had cranked the camera and D Imman is the music composer.

The shooting of the film was wrapped yesterday, the 24th April and the unit had celebrated this by cutting a huge cake with some celebrations. Actor Sounder Raja took to Twitter to inform, “#KadaikuttySingam last day celebrations. Almost we become real family members .
