'Khufiya' to be premiered at IFFLA

Tabu-starrer action-spy-thriller film 'Khufiya' is all set to have its world premiere at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA), to be held from October 11 to 15. Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, ‘Khufiya’ is based on the novel ‘Escape to Nowhere’, written by the former R&AW (Research and Analysis Wing) chief of counter espionage, Amar Bhushan.

Tabu plays as a covert character, who embarks on a secret and dangerous mission that requires her to juggle roles as a spy and a lover. The film will mark the actor’s third collaboration with Bhardwaj, who is known best for films such as ‘Maqbool’, ‘Omkara’, and ‘Haider.’

The film, which also stars Wamiqa Gabbi and Ali Fazal, will be streaming on Netflix in October.
