Maari sequel to start this year

Maari directed by Balaji Mohan featured Dhanush and Kajal Agarwal as the leads. It had good expectations especially when an actor of the caliber like Dhanush and a good name earned director like Balaji Mohan came together. People expected sparks to fly but sadly, the film did not satisfy the expectations, but just about satisfied Dhanush’s fans.

A sequel for this film was announced after the film’s release and now it has come to the notice that the shoot for the sequel will begin in October when Dhanush would be done with his other commitments.

Currently Dhanush is involved with Durai Senthilkumar’s Kodi and then he would get busy with his Hollywood project, The Fakir. By October, Balaji Mohan also will be done scripting the film which would enable the two to team up. It is said that Dhanush will have to grow a handlebar moustache like how he had for Maari.
