Madonna Sebastian replaces Shamlee

Kodi is an upcoming film produced by Dhanush for his Wunderbar Films which will be directed by Durai Senthilkumar of Ethir Neechal fame. The film will have Dhanush in two roles and was initially said to have two heroines, one each for the two Dhanushs.

Trisha was roped in to play the heroine for elder Dhanush and her role was also said to have grey shades almost like a villain. For the younger one, Shamlee, Ajith’s sister-in-law was brought in and the lady was quite excited to play a role early on with Dhanush.

But it looks like Shamlee has walked out of the project due to date issues. The project was said to begin in October 2015 and for some reasons, the shoot was pushed and it is said to begin in few days from now. Since Shamlee had given her dates in Feb to Veera Sivaji, she had informed the producer and now Madonna Sebastian of Premam fame will replace her. It is to be noted that Madonna plays the heroine in Nalan Kumarasamy’s Kaadhalaum Kadandhgu Pogum with Vijay Sethupathi as the hero. Click the Movie button below for more info:
