Madonna's sad message to estranged son

New York: Singer Madonna is hoping she and her currently estranged son Rocco Ritchie can somehow mend their relationship and have a happy New Year.

The "Material girl" hitmaker took to Instagram to prove to Rocco, her 15-year-old son with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie, just how much she loves him, reports radaronline.com.

�Merry X-mas to the Sun-shine of my Life!� Madonna wrote to Rocco in the caption of an Instagram photograph of the two in happier times.

In a move to show Rocco what he was missing out on, she also posted photographs of Rocco�s brother, David Banda, 10, and sisters Lourdes, 19, and Mercy James, 9, enjoying themselves on Christmas.

An insider had revealed the 57-year-old singer and her eldest boy�s fighting came to a head in mid-November when Rocco �ran away in Stockholm", during a stop on his mother�s Rebel Heart Tour.

�M and Rocco were having bad shouting matches,� the insider explained. �She�d be crying and yelling at him.�

A judge has since ordered Rocco, who holed up in Guy Ritchie�s London home, to face his mother here.
