Malavika female lead in 'Thalapathy 64'

Close on the heels of casting Malayalam actor Antony Varghese, the makers of 'Thalapathy 64' has roped in Malayali girl Malavika Mohanan to play the female lead in the movie.

"Super excited to act opposite the one and only @actorvijay in #Thalapathy64 ! @Dir_Lokesh thank you @Jagadishbliss#MalavikaJoinsThalapathy64 #Summer2020,” Malavika tweeted.

Apart from actor Vijay, the film, which will be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, also has Vijay Sethupathi. Actor Shanthanu too will be a part of the film.

Malavika, who hails from Kerala and grew up in Mumbai, is the daughter of popular Malayalam cinematographer KU Mohanan. The actor made her debut in the 2013 film ‘Pattam Pole’, starring Dulquer Salmaan in the lead.
