'Adaminte Makan Abu' to Arabic

Salim Ahmed’s debut film ‘Adaminte Makan Abu’ is being dubbed into Arabic. Salim Kumar and Zareena Wahad do the lead roles in this movie.

Nedumudi Venu, Mukesh, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Kalabhavan Mani also play important roles in the film. ‘Adaminte Makan Abu’ plots the story of an old and poor attar (perfume) seller who earnestly wishes to go for a pilgrimage to Mecca and perform the Hajj with his wife.

‘Adaminte Makan Abu’ has been showcased in the London Film Festival and Goa Film Festival and had won the Special Mention of the jury.

Salim Kumar bags the National award for the Best actor and the director Salim Ahmed for Best Director for this movie. Released in 2011, the movie has also won many other State and National awards.
