Mani Ratnam names his film as Chekka Chivandha Vaanam

Ace Director Mani Ratnam's Madras Talkies and happening Producer Subaskaran's Lyca Productions have come together to produce a mega budget multi starrer "Chekka Chivantha Vaanam".

Arvind Swami, Silambarasan (STR), Vijay Sethupathi, Arun Vijay, Prakash Raj, Thyagarajan, Mansoor Ali Khan, Jyothika, Jaya Sudha, Aditi Rao, Aishwarya Rajesh, Dayana and many other prominent actors are featuring in the film. Shoot starts on 12th February.

As regards other details, Music Director will be A.R.Rahman, Cinematography by Santosh Sivan, editing by Sreekar Prasad, Lyrics by Vairamuthu and art design by Sharmishta Roy. Bejoy Nambiar is one of the creative producers. Fahadh Faasil was said to have been in the film earlier but now he is replaced by Arun Vijay who was so excited to share the information through a tweet that read, “Long wait.. comes true! Yes..
