Money shouldn't be discussed, says Ranbir Kapoor

Mumbai, Oct 29 (IANS) Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who was recently in news for charging Rs.20 crore for his latest film "Besharaam", says money is something which should not be discussed in public.

"Nothing disturbs me. It's the reporter's job to ask questions and it's my job to answer in the best way. Money is something which should not be discussed. It's personal and many people have their own takes," Ranbir Kapoor told IANS.

"I read an article recently that I charged Rs.20 crore for my last film ('Besharam') and it's embarrassing sometimes. You don't want to talk about your finances. It's very personal," he added.

"Besharaam", which brought his actor-parents Neetu and Rishi Kapoor on the screen for the first time with him, performed poorly at the box office. But the actor says he will continue to work in the same way.

"I can only wait for my next release after every film. Whether it's a hit or a flop, I approach my film in the same way. I will continue to do so. How much a flop or a hit matters, I don't know. My parents have been acting for more than 30 years. They are happy that we worked together," he said.
