Ashiq Abu’s ‘Rani Padmini’ is a travel movie – the various incidents, sights, and insights en route takes the story forwards.

Rani (Rima) and Padmini ( Manju Warier) are two strangers who meet during a journey. There develops a bond between them and they are mutually influenced.

The movie is a journey through unfamiliar places and novel state of affairs. Chandigarh, Delhi, Manali, Himachal Pradesh are the locations of the movie.

‘Rani Padmini’ is a travel-thriller film scripted by Shyam Pushkar and Ravi Sankar. The movie narrates the story of two women who embark on a journey from Kochi to Himachal Pradesh via Delhi, with varied aims; the life and experiences of these two women who are strangers.

The cast also includes Sana Althaf, Shine Tom Chacko, Sajitha Madathil, Jinu Joseph, Sreenath Bhasi, Soubin Shahir, new face Theertha, and Dileesh Pothen.

Bijibal composes music for the movie and the camera is handled by Madhu Neelakantan.
