Manju warrier conquers the hearts of spectators through her presentation of Kamala Das Surayya. The emotional nuances have been presented effectively by her with remarkable ease. Special credit has to be given to her makeup man and hair stylist. Kamal has manoeuvred the script intelligently so that it does not leave any blemishes on either her or her lover.
