'Nellikka' first teaser released

The shooting of ‘Nellikka’ directed by editor Bijith Bala is progressing and the first teaser of the movie is out. P R Arun writes the script of ‘Nellikka’.

The film narrates the story of two generations of music lovers in Kozhikode. The movie tells the story of Haridasan, a member of the club who worshipped the music of Babukka and his son Balu who is an avid fan of Bob Marley.

Sashi Kumar plays Haridasan and 'Thattathin Marayathu' fame Deepak does the role of Balu. Bollywood actor Atul Kulkkarni is also seen in a prominent role. Sija Rose is the heroine.

‘Nellikka’ set in the backdrop of Kozhikode gives great prominence to music and romance. This is the maiden directorial venture of Bijith Bala who has edited around 30 movies including ‘Shutter’.
