Mumbai, May 29 (IANS) The lukewarm response to Vikram starrer "Aparachit", a Hindi version of Tamil film "Anniyan", has not discouraged producer V. Ravichandran from planning his next big endeavour - "Dasavatharam".

Ravichandran has teamed up with actor Kamal Haasan and director K.S. Ravikumar, who has to his credit some of the best-known Rajnikanth starrers, for this big-budget film scheduled to go on floors at the year-end.

"The film will have many firsts to its credits including the fact that for the first time Kamal Haasan is playing 10 different roles on screen. He is very excited about the role and is looking forward to it," said Ravichandran.

Not many people are aware of the fact that Kamal volunteered to do this film after Ravichandran agreed to finance his orphaned project - "Vetayadu Vilayadu" - when its original producer Kaja Moideen went bankrupt and opted out of the film.

"Dasavatharam' incidentally is a rip-roaring satire, which will see Kamal playing George Bush, Osama bin Laden, Saddam Hussein and a few others.

Crazy Mohan, who is known for his great sense of comedy, pens down the dialogues for the film.

Ravichandran is trying to cash in on the success of duo Kamal-Ravikumar who gave hit comedies like "Tenali" and "Panchathanthiram" in the past.
