Shiney Ahuja Skips His Film's First Look Launch

Mumbai, October 8 (NR)What do you expect at the first look launch of one of the most controversial celebrity's film? A full packed media turn out. However, much to the disappointment of media, controversy's child Shiney Ahuja chose to give the media event of his forthcoming film Ghost a complete miss.

Despite being a part of the media invites, Shiney was conspicuous by his absence. Even the lead actress of the film Sayali Bhagat who recently shot to headlines with her scandalous quote of Shiney trying to hit on her too was seen absent from the event.

Talking about their absence the director of the film Pooja Bedi said, 'Both of them are very busy people. I am sure Shiney may have gotten pits in his stomach at the idea of facing so much media and Sayali is busy shooting an ad. The launch of the film couldn't have been delayed because of anybody. At the end of the day they are just actors and the film is bigger than them.'

Having controversial actors is one thing but working with them another. Ask debutante director Pooja whether she ever faced any troubles while working with Shiney due to his trials and the renowned producer and Bharat Shah covers up for her, 'We faced only one problem that each time we had to take a permission from Court before shooting with him owing to which two schedules got cancelled and the budget of the film shot high. This can be very upsetting for any filmmaker.'

Ask Bharat about Sayali Bhagat's statement about Shiney and he accuses us of trying to dig out gossip, 'It's an old habit of media to connect two and two together. I do not know anything on this matter. Who goes with whom or who goes where with whom is not our concern.
