'Lost in Translation' voted most boring movie

London, Feb 18 (IANS) Oscar winning movie "Lost in Translation", starring Bill Murray and Scarlet Johansson, has been voted the most boring movie ever.


Ananova.com reports that it polled 23 percent, beating out "Star Wars: The Phantom Menace", which came in second with 18 percent.


The survey was conducted for Silentnight, Britain's biggest bed manufacturer. Its brand manager Steven Simpson said: "We were surprised to see so many well-known award-winning films make the top 10. No doubt the findings will stir up some controversy amongst film fans."


The top 10 are:


1. "Lost In Translation" (23 percent)


2. "Star Wars: The Phantom Menace" (18 percent)


3. "Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind" (14 percent)


4. "Vanilla Sky" (13 percent)


5. "A Beautiful Mind" (10 percent)


7. "Remains of The Day" (eight percent)


8. "The Black Dahlia" (seven percent)


9. "The Da Vinci Code" (four percent)


10. "The English Patient" (three percent)
