Bangalore, Jan 20 (IANS) The row over takeover of farm land in West Bengal for a car project will soon find an echo in award winning Kannada director Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar's next film "Mathaad Mathaad Mallige".

The director depicts a farmer's resistance to a corporate-political attempt to acquire agricultural land in the film being produced by K. Manju.

Vishnuvardhan dons the rebellious farmer's role and Suhasini Mani Ratnam plays the female lead. Doddanna, Rangayana Raghu and Sihi Kahi Chandru form the rest of the cast.

Mano Murthy, who recently churned out hit album "Mungaru Male", has scored music for the movie, a major portion of which has been shot in the picturesque Malnad region of Karnataka.
