Bangalore, Aug 2 (IANS) 'Crazy Star' Ravichandran has decided to concentrate on acting for some time, a decision that promises a host of films for his fans.

The versatile actor had earlier worked as an editor, composer and director in Kannada cinema.

His new policy will see him starring in a series of films with popular actresses like Rakshitha, Radhika, Namitha, Jennifer, Kamna Jethmalani and Charmee.

He will be seen with Rakshitha and Radhika in "Odahuttidavalu". Produced by K. Manju and directed by Sai Prakash, the film will release during the Ganesha festival.

Next in the pipeline is "Neelakanta" in which Ravichandran teams up with dare-bare Tamil actress Namitha. "Neelakanta", produced by Bala Muttayya and directed by Sai Prakash, marks Namitha's debut on Kannada screen.

Another Ravichandran starrer in the making is director Sai Prakash's "Ugadhi", to be produced by Ganesh. It has Jennifer and Kamna Jethmalani in the main leads and is almost complete. Only three song sequences remain to be shot in Switzerland.

"Hatavadi" producer Sandesh Nagaraj is making another film, "Brahmana", with Ravichandran under veteran M.S. Rajashekhar's direction. This film features Sneha of 'the thousand-watt smile'. This is Sneha's first Kannada film.

Ravichandran is also switching over to a 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. schedule. This, he says, gives him more time to write the script for his dream project "Naa" in which he is set to play seven roles.

Incidentally, Ravichandran is directing another film for a Telugu film producer, which has been tentatively titled "Durga". He will also be scoring music for the film after the as yet unspecified acting-only period.
