Dec 7, 2007 NR

Nandanar (real name P.C. Gopalan) began life as a soldier and was rather disillusioned with what he was doing. He didn't like killing, and fired his shots at the enemy just for the sake of saving his own life. Back home from the battlefield, he did what he enjoyed doing. He wrote books - most of them based on his experiences as a soldier. Nandanar soon became a noted name in Malayalam literature. Here comes a film based on the life and works of this popular Malayalam writer.
