A sequel to Mayavi

News is rife that a sequel is being planned for the blockbuster Mammootty film Mayavi. The sequel is reportedly being planned by the makers of the original Mayavi, namely producer P. Rajan of Vaishakha Movies and director Shafi. If it materializes they would join hands with Mammootty to once again rock the theatres. Viewers would no doubt be anxiously waiting for Mayavi Part-II if that is bound to happen, which let's hope it does!

Meanwhile Shafi, who is still basking in the success of Chocolate, has no time to rest, his hands being full of interesting projects. He is all set to direct a Dileep starrer for Vaishakha Movies, to be scripted by Benny P. Nayarambalam. He is also going to direct a Mammootty-film scripted by Sachi and Sethu of Chocolate fame, as well as a Mohanlal-starrer to be scripted by Rafi and Mecartin.
