'Bhagavan' is a success, says Prasanth Mambully

Cochin, Feb.5 (NR) Though the Mohanlal starrer 'Bhagavan' sank without a trace at the box office, director Prasanth Mambully says that the film is a success.


"I would say 'Bhagavan' is a success," says the director. "It was an experimental film that was shot in a record nineteen hours. And since it was a film that starred Megastar Mohanlal, I would say it was quite a daring attempt. "


"Not all films that are shot on regular schedules are successful at the box office. 'Bhagavan' had a hijack theme, and there are several other films that have dealt with the same theme. If you compare my film with these, you would say that 'Bhagavan' is an excellent film," said Prasanth while interacting with a prominent magazine.


Prasanth is currently busy shooting for a Tamil film 'Ungal Veetu Pillai' that would be shot in Telugu and Kannada as well. Click the Movie button below for more info:
