'Kalabham tharam' Kerala's most popular song

Kochi, June 14 (IANS) There are hardly any changes in this list. The music of "Vadakkumnathan" still holds sway over the audience. The top five Malayalam songs are:

1. "Kalabham tharam" - Film: "Vadakkumnathan"; Music: Raveendran; Lyrics: Gireesh Puthencherry; Singers: K.S. Chitra and Biju Narayanan. The song is holding on to its top position, with Chitra and Biju Narayanan weaving magic with their voices.

2. "Pachapanamthathe" - Film: "Nottam"; Music: M. Jayachandran; Lyrics: Ponkunnam Damodaran; Singer: K.J. Yesudas. There was a controversy surrounding the song as it was originally composed by the legendary Baburaj and Jayachandran just reworked the tune.

3. "Aattinkarayorathe" - Film: "Rasathantram"; Music: Ilayaraja; Lyrics: Gireesh Puthencherry; Singer: Manjari. The hit number is still pulling the audience into the theatres.
