'Muttathe Mulle' tops Malayalam audio charts

Kochi, April 6 (IANS) The songs of "Abraham and Lincoln" and "November Rain" enter the top five list, but "Maayavi" is still at the top.

The top five Malayalam songs are:

1. "Muttathe mulle" - Film: "Maayavi"; Music director: Alex Paul; Lyrics: Sarath Varma; Singers: K.J. Yesudas and Manjari. Alex Paul's melodious composition still tops the charts.

2. "Kezhumakkannale" - Film: "Abraham and Lincoln"; Music: Ouseppachan; Lyrics: Balachandran Chullikkad; Singers: Kalabhavan Mani and Rimi Tomy. An entertaining folksy tune, it is suited to Kalabhavan Mani's voice.

3. "Chembakapoo" - Film: "November Rain"; Music: Anoop S. Nair; Lyrics; Sachidanandan Puzhangara. A touching lullaby makes it to the charts for a change.

4. "Oru kinnara ganam" - Film: "The Speed Track"; Music: Deepak Dev; Lyrics: Gireesh Puthencherry; Singers: Udit Narayan and Sujatha. The romantic song from a film with sports background continues to be popular.

5. "Sneham thenalla" - Film: "Maayavi"; Music: Alex Paul; Lyrics: Sarath Varma; Singers: M.G. Sreekumar and G. Venugopal. Both the songs of this film are still holding the audience under sway.
