Prithvi launches a war against piracy

Cochin, Apr.20 (NR): Prithviraj has launched a war against film piracy, and has registered a complaint with the Cyber Cell, to crack down the culprits who have made his latest film 'Urumi' available online.

It had come to Prithvi's notice that a website based in the US had offered opportunities to download the film that was a shot on a huge budget of around 20 crores.

Th Cyber Cell has been able to track the owner of the website, who is believed to be based in California. Its also learned that Mallika Sukumaran who has filed the complaint on behalf of her son Prithviraj, plans to sue the owner of the website for a whopping 5 crores.

It also has to be remembered that the film has not yet been released in the UAE, which is a huge market for the film, outside India.
