Sad that Mammooty hasn't got the National Award: Shaji N Karun

Cochin, Sep.15 (NR): Director Shaji N Karun, whose film 'Kutty Srank' was adjudged the Best Film of the year 2009 at the National Awards has commented that it's sad that Mammootty hasn't got the award for Best Actor.

'I am sorry that Mammootty hasn't got the award for Best Actor. He should have got it for his sincerity,' Shaji said, while interacting with media persons.

'I still can't believe that 'Kutty Srank' has been selected as the Best Film. I am glad that I was able to deliver the stuff in 'Kutty Srank' to the expected level,' he added.

Mammootty had lost out on the Best Actor award to Amitabh Bachchan who bagged it for his performance in 'Paa'. Click the Movie button below for more info:
