Salim Kumar has plans to produce a film

Cochin, Jun.4 (NR): National Award winning actor Salim Kumar has expressed a desire to produce a film soon.

He also said that it would be a commercial production that would in all probability be directed by a debutante director.

Salim Kumar said that he has been getting several acting offers from other languages, and added that at the moment he intends to concentrate on Malayalam films.

The actor is of the opinion that the length of the role should not be a criterion for the Best Actor award. Salim feels that even if an actor delivers an exemplary performance in a single scene, he should be considered for the Best Actor award.

Salim's award winning film 'Adaminte Makan Abu' would soon make it to the theatres.
