Aadhi completes shooting for 'Kochadaiyan'

Aadhi, who is a part of 'Kochadaiyan' has completed his portion. He could not go to London for the first schedue as his visa had been delayed. He recently traveled to Kerala to do his portions that included some sequences, which he was supposed to shoot in London. After completing the 20-day London schedule, the team moved on to Kerala where Aadhi joined the other members of the crew. He featured in some scenes with lead player Rajinikanth and these scenes were shot in a studio in Trivandrum.

Narrating his experiences, Aadhi said the first question Rajini asked him when they were shooting together in Trivandrum was how tall he was "I told him I am 6.2. Thalaivar was present when I gave my first shot, and I was a nervous wreck then. I shot for almost three days. On the last day, I took leave of Rajini and left the place after a photo session with him."

This is the first time Aadhi has shot using the motion capturing technology in 3D. Explaining, he said, "First, motion capture is like theatre. You are made to imagine objects around you and then perform after wearing a body suit that has tracking points on it. That is a challenge in itself. What made it more challenging was I had to do my portions in combination sequences involving Rajini and me by looking at what he had done in London."

Elaborating further on MCT, Aadhi said, "The film is being made on the strength of our imagination. I was actually sitting on a wooden plank, surrounded by blue mats, but had to imagine that I was riding a horse. The movements, the jerks and even the time when I jerk the gallop, are all imaginative."

Aadhi said he learnt a lot during this process and managed to take away with him a tracking point from Rajini's suit as a memento. Click the Movie button below for more info:
