Anaida croons for Tamil film

Mumbai, Oct 26 (IANS): Indian pop singer Anaida has just finished recording her first song for a Tamil film.

The song, which has additional lyrics in English written by Anaida herself, is for a film featuring Shweta Vijay, the winner of the Miss India-Earth 2003 title.

"It was my friend Shweta who recommended my name. Though it sounded a bit difficult initially, after I heard the track I knew I would be able to crack it. The track was recorded in three hours," Anaida told IANS.

The track was recorded at the Sasi Recording Inn owned by A.R. Rahman's sister.
