Arya to be axed?

Upcoming actor Arya may be replaced as the hero of in-the-making "Naan Kadavul", which has received much pre-production publicity.

The poor performance of Arya's Diwali release "Vattaram" at the box office has reportedly prompted this change, said sources.

It may be recalled that the rugged-looking Arya had earlier replaced Ajith as the film's proposed hero.

P.L. Thenappan is to produce the film with Bhavana in the female lead.

Arya has made his mark with films like "Arindhum Ariyamalum", "Ullam Ketkume" and "Oru Kalluriyin Kadhai".
