Asin-Jothika to sizzle with Surya in 'Jillendru Oru Kadhal'

After "Aaru", Surya's next project is "Jillendru Oru Kadhal" with two heroines -- Asin and Jothika.

This is the first time Asin is being featured with Surya along with Jothika. For Jothika, this is the seventh film with Surya.

The new big-budget film, to be directed by Krishna, is based on a true-life episode. The story is written by A.C. Dorai. Surya's role is entirely different from those he had portrayed in his films so far.

Besides direction, Krishna is also in charge of screenplay and dialogue. He has worked as assistant director for two Telugu films "Minnale" and "Khaka Khaka". "Minnale" was remade in Hindi with Krishna as the assistant director.

The music is by A.R. Rehman and the lyrics are by Vaali. Jothika's favourite cinematographer R.D. Rajshekar is the cameraman.

K.E. Ganavel is the producer. He is now producing "Paruthi Veeran" in which Surya's brother plays the lead role, under the banner of Studio Kreen.

The shooting of "Jillendru..." is scheduled to commence this month and is expected to be released in April next year. Locations within the country selected are Rajhamundry, Visakhapatnam, Mumbai, Goa and Chennai.

Dance scenes are all planned to be shot at exotic locals in countries like Australia, New Zealand and Spain.
