Four friends who were featured in "Chennai-28", the successful maiden directorial venture of music director Gangai Ameran's son Venkat Prabhu, are coming together again to act in a new film titled "Thozha".

"Chennai-28" based on local cricket recently celebrated the 100-day run with both Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth participating in the function. Lead characters of "Chennai-28", Premji, Nithin Sathya, Ajairaj and Vijay are being cast in "Thozha". (It was Premji who regaled the audience with his refrain "Enna Kodumai Sir Idu").

New faces being introduced are Sahithya, Jennifer and 'Miss Bangalore' Lakshana. The story is about four friends and how they face the consequences of a shocking incident involving them and it is narrated in a lighter vein with wit and humour, according to Director Sundareswaran.

Besides acting, Premji will also score music for the film for the first time. The producers are M Pazhani, M. Suresh Kumar, V. Bhaskaran and P. Paramasivam of Arovana Films.
