Clash of titans, Vijay and Vikram, is on cards for Deepavali

As many as eight Tamil films are ready for simultaneous release on Deepavali Day (Nov.2 - Tuesday).

Among them are "Sivakasi" starring Vijay and "Majaa" featuring Vikram. In both these films, the heroine is Asin.

These two films and veteran Vijayakanth's "Perarasu” are expected to garnish the Deepavali bouquet of eight films. All vying for top slots.

The bouquet includes Dhanush-starrer "Adhu Oru Kanaa Kaalam", directed by Balu Mahendra. Dhanush is trying to stage a comeback through this film as his last few films bombed at the box office.

"Autograph"-fame Cheran is also in with his "Thavamai Thavamirundu”.

Jothika, Kushboo and Saritha are coming together for the first time in debutant director Revathy S. Varma's film "June R".
