Dhanu, Susi rope in Vikram and Katrina

Actor Vikram went without a film featuring him hitting the screens in 2006. His only film 'Bheema' which was talked about through the year seems to have made little or no progress. The actor, who had his last release, 'Maja' in 2005, has decided to move on to three projects in hand in the New Year.

First of them will be directed by Susi Ganesan and produced by Kalaipuli Dhanu. Dhanu took the initiative to bring Susi and Vikram together for his next venture which is yet to be named. Susi won State awards for his earlier movies, including 'Five Star' and 'Virumbugiraen'.

According to latest reports, Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has agreed to do Susi's film with Vikram. Katrina made her debut with the Telugu film 'Malleshwari' playing opposite Venkatesh. Vijay's first choice for 'Pokiri' was Katrina.

Vikram has also agreed to do two other films – one for producer Mohan Natarajan and the other under the direction of Selvaraghavan to be produced by S. Ramesh Babu of Kanakarathna Movies.
