Editor Ranjit Bose turns director with 'Madichar Mami'

Ranjit Bose, who has worked as editor for Hindi films, is directing for the first time a Tamil Film titled ‘Madichar Mami’.


He has edited 27 Hindi films, including Salman Khan’s 'Lucky’, Fardeen Khan’s ‘Jana Sheen’ and Sohail Khan’s 'Aryan’.


When Ranjit Bose was editing the Hindi film ‘Sancha…’ its producer Vivek Dikshit told him he planned to produce a film in Tamil and asked for a good script for it. Ranjit Bose then narrated the story of ‘Madichar Mami’. Vivek liked the story and they immediately started the shooting and also wrapped up the film, Bose said.


Mithun, Rishi. Mansi and Puneeth are playing important characters. It is a comedy film with a “good message’. The audio will be released soon.


Ranjit Bose will next direct an animation film and he is in talks with a leading hero.
