Good times for Kerala actresses in Tamil films

Chennai, Aug 8 (IANS): It's boom time for Malayalee actresses in Tamil films.

After the stupendous success of Meera Jasmine, it is now the turn of Navya Nair to sign her second Tamil film.

Navya's first Tamil film was Prakash Raj's "Azhakiya Theeyae", opposite Prasanna, the hero of "Five Star".

And "Azhakiya Theeyae" received good reviews.

No wonder, Navya has now been signed for a film by one of Tamil film industries' prestigious banners, K. Balachnader's Kavithalaya.

She is starring opposite Sarat Kumar, who has a double role in the film.
