Chennai, July 22 (IANS): Tamil cinema's popular comedian, actor and playwright has just let his fans into the great secret of how he came to be
known as Crazy Mohan.
It all began with his first play "Crazy Thieves in Palavakkam". The play was a hit and he wrote several short stories after that in the popular Tamil magazine Ananda Vikatan.
With a million Mohans in Tamil Nadu, the sub-editor just added a Crazy to the Mohan to distinguish him from the rest. All the stories were published with the byline Crazy Mohan.
The title stuck and Crazy Mohan soon shot into fame with his comic and crazy roles in south Indian cinema.
He plays the role of the chief doctor in "Vasool Raja M.B.B.S.", the Tamil version of the Bollywood hit "Munnabhai M.B.B.S".
