Kalaignar pens story for 'Paasa Kiligal'

DMK president and former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi is still very actively involved in Tamil filmmaking. He has penned the story, screenplay and dialogue for a film "Paasa Kiligal". The family-oriented story has been woven around love and affection. Amirtham is to direct the film under the banner of Anjugam Kalaikudam.

Prabhu and Murali will be featured as heroes. The cast will include Vadivelu, Nasar, Pasupathi, Vineeth, Tyagu, Kumarimuthu, Navya Nayar, Malavika, Roja and Manorama. Vidyasagar is the music director. Vairamuthu, Vaali and Pa. Vijai provide the lyrics. Rajkirthi is the editor.

It is planned to have outdoor shooting in Madurai, Pollachi, Mysore and other places. Rama Narayanan is the producer of this big budget film. The shooting of the film will start in August and completed in two phases.
